Player.me

Player.me is an amazing social media site that is exclusively for gamers. The community is fantastic and are always willing to help each other out once they get to know you. I have made countless friends there and I always log in at least once a day to share the content I am working on as well as how my day's going. It doesn't hurt if you are a big fan of Memes either.

Streaming

Player.me has many additional features than just social interaction of course. One of the biggest features is a Desktop App that can be used to live stream to Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, FaceBook and the sort. Inside the App you can find plenty of overlays and alerts that can make your live stream great. Also, nearly everything is able to be personalized.

Communities

Another great feature of Player are it's various communities. With communities you can find like minded individuals that are willing to talk about a single topic or game. You can even just make one simply for personal Memes. I have one for Retro Gaming. Although not too popular right now, one day communities will play a great role at bringing various gamers together.

Joining the Community

The main feature of Player.me, of course, is it's fantastic community members that interact with each other on a daily basis. I have made so many friends on Player.me that have helped me not only grow as a person but also to make better content. Unlike on other platforms, the amount of trolls and all around unintelligent hate that you will get on platforms like Twitter and FaceBook just don't exist here. The people here really care about each other and are more than willing to help each other out in anyways they can.

The main posting interface has 3 Tabs currently.

1. General
2. Following
3. Pinned

The General tab is for when you want to see everyone's posts. The Following tab only shows the users that you have followed. You'll get less unwanted Memes that way. Pinned is a good way of holding onto an older post that you really enjoyed. This could be a game site that someone has shared that you don't have time to read currently. Just Pin it and then go back and check it out later.

Of course you can send private messages to any user that you want if you have something to say to them that you don't want anyone else to see.

The Discover Tab

The last thing I'm going to discuss here is the Discover section of the site. On here you can find any community, user, or game that has been integrated into the site. Each and every section has a search bar that will help you find what community, user, or game you are trying to find that pertains to your search. In each of Discover's Tabs, you can join any community that you find you may wish to belong to, search through each and every user, and check out a near full library of games with tons of information about each game.
